Like other high school online program GWU use standard web-based teaching methods, such as lectures and exams. In addition, students will have the opportunity to participate in the interaction, such as, “an interactive class sessions, online tutorials, and a one-on-one conversations as well as online activities, such as access to the season summer enrichment program GWU campus. ” GWU officials believe that even if the school is new, is still to provide students with a comprehensive and balanced education.

Robert Ian cone, dean of the School GWU university education and human development, said: “The online experience can strengthen and enrich the high school experience” for students. He added that online students will maintain interaction with their teachers and counselors, in addition to support staff who were trained to run online schools. The program will also offer career guidance to help students make informed decisions about their future in higher education or career may be best for them.

Like all online schools, the GWU program will benefit students by allowing them to use an innovative technology that “reflects the way young people communicate in today’s world.” Graduate students study the effects of educational technology and learning the program grows and more students enrolled.
